The French-Mediterranean restaurant reopens its doors to guests with a new polished look
Multi-award-winning LPM Restaurant & Bar Dubai will be re-opening its doors on Tuesday, November 15th, to unveil the new and improved space after its summer refresh. The highly anticipated revamp promises exquisite harmony on the palate, and outrageous harmony in the room with exciting new features and riveting enhancements.
With a genuine sense of joie de vivre, LPM Dubai has been perfecting its unforgettable yet uncomplicated fresh food, thrilling, original cocktails, as well as its lively service throughout the summer. An even brighter, more spontaneous space with bold colours, outlandish vases, striking art, and belle epoque influences, awaits returning guests of the beloved venue.
After 12 iconic years on the DIFC landscape, the Riviera-inspired restaurant and bar temporarily closed its doors for the first time in July 2022 with the promise of coming back with a revived version of its classic look.
Among many refreshments to heighten guests’ experiences, a semi-private dining room will be added to the venue, surrounded by an unapologetically vivid canvas’ from 20th-century artists, allowing guests to have a private experience of LPM that has never been seen before. The restaurant’s iconic white cloth will grace the table, as they do throughout the restaurant, echoing the simplicity of French high-end dining. The walls will be adorned with hand-painted strokes by an accomplished English painter, giving the walls a textured and distressed appearance. On the terrace, four vintage chandeliers have been brought in all the way from Paris to shine above customers as they dine, and another will hang above the private dining room.
Guests will be able to bask in new dishes and desserts that complement LPM’s creativity and original A La Carte menu. Seasonal plates will be consistently prepared, and a brand-new business lunch will be blooming, all prepared with fresh ingredients that diners can enjoy to the tempo of classic, yet modern, Mediterranean vibes – sometimes funky, always elegant, refined, and never predictable. Not only has the space had a refresh, but so will the LPM menu. The dishes can be expected to taste of ‘freshness’ due to LPM’s newly appointed Global Executive Chef, Adriano Cattaneo, adding beloved seasonal dishes to the menu. Plates to expect include King Crab and Tomato Tart, Artichoke Hearts Salad with Truffle Vinaigrette, Homemade Pecorino Tortellini with Truffle, Lemon Tart with Italian Meringue, and many more.
The Bar and Kitchen
A state-of-the-art drinks lab has been installed to complement the expansive bar. As true pioneers in cocktail crafting culture, the lab is set to aid the award-winning bar team in continuing to create unique drinks to delight guests through surprise. New cocktails can be expected to add to the already impressive Jean Cocteau menu and classic cocktails with an LPM twist. Additionally, grape lovers and enthusiasts would be delighted by the added improved cellars, allowing LPM to serve an even larger selection and continue being a place to discover new cuvée. The bar will have a refresh with a ten-meter-long pewter countertop, and a handmade mosaic on the floor in front, complete with new bar stools, ambient lighting, and a cabinet of vintage spirits. LPM’s iconic mosaic salad bar will be replaced with solid marble originating from Italy, while a brand-new made-to-measure kitchen made in Italy has been installed.
Nicolas Budzynski, Global Operations Director of LPM comments on the refresh; “12 years after opening our doors, we are delighted to start a new chapter at LPM Dubai, with a renovation that ensures that our friends, family, and the team will continue to love their LPM experience for many years to come. We have been very careful to stay true to our founders’ vision but have also been eager to showcase the new space with exciting features that have been in the pipeline for many years. Guests can expect a new semi-private dining room and bar lab, as well as improved acoustics and sound systems. Despite all of this, LPM will remain the same, we have always been passionate about the food, the drinks, the ambiance, and most importantly, the people.”
Lastly, joining LPM for the grand reopening of its revived venue, is the French Riviera-based party band, The Troubadours. Guests can expect to be welcomed to a lively and powerful atmosphere brought on by The Troubadours and their charming energy.
LPM’s values have remained the same throughout its time in Dubai, promising guests a memorable experience with a sense that something special can happen at any moment. A little daring, a little irreverent, easygoing, yet a room full of warmth. The restaurant’s magic has proved to be undeniable for Dubai residents, critics, and fans, helping the venue place 8th Best Restaurant in the Middle East, named by World’s 50 Best Restaurants Middle East & Africa, and is now also part of the esteemed Michelin Guide.
