Moon Bar by MiMi, the intimate cocktail destination hidden within MiMi Mei Fair, has fast gained popularity as the chic late night happy hour destination in the pulse of Dubai Opera District. With a concept led by Bar Manager Jeet Verma, the latest chapter celebrates the art of storytelling through mixology — where each cocktail becomes a ritual, and every sip reveals a layered tale of flavour, craft, and imagination. Complemented by a curated selection of elevated bar bites, the menu invites guests to linger longer, drink deeper, and discover the unexpected.
Set within MiMi Mei Fair Dubai, Moon Bar traces the fictional voyage of Empress MiMi — from Imperial China to the opulence of 1920s Shanghai, onward to London, and now, Dubai. The venue harmonises Chinese heritage, from its lacquered black fluted bar and moonlit ceilings to the hand-painted mirrors depicting Yutu, the Jade Rabbit of the Moon, crafting his mythical elixir. Discreetly nestled in Dubai’s Opera District, Moon Bar evokes old-world glamour and mystique of Chinese folklore, creating an atmosphere both intimate and otherworldly – a sanctuary for those seeking an elevated night out defined by craft, culture, and character.

New Moon Bar Signatures Unveiled
At the heart of the new menu is a collection of Moon Bar signatures, each inspired by the legend of Yutu – the mythical Jade Rabbit said to live upon the moon, forever crafting his celestial elixir. The Yíner-Tini is crisp and citrusy with subtle earthy undertones, while the Mòlìhua Fizz captures a delicate balance of floral and fruity notes with a gentle bitterness. For a deeper and more aromatic experience, the Mugwort Mystique delivers bold complexity, brightened by a touch of yuzu.

Guests can also discover the Mini Moons — petite renditions of Moon Bar’s signature cocktails, served individually or as a refined tasting trio, perfect for aperitif hour or late-night exploration. The journey continues with MiMi’s Classics, timeless creations that embody the venue’s signature glamour. The Blossom Spritz offers a floral, effervescent lift, the Imperial Blush is light and refreshing with hints of lychee and basil, and the Lantern Margarita reimagines a classic with a spicy, aromatic twist of chilli and yuzu.

For those seeking mindful indulgence, Moon Bar’s non-alcoholic creations crafted with Lyre’s deliver sophistication without compromise. The Juniper Bloom is crisp and fragrant, the Amaretti Sour soft and citrusy, while the homemade Sparkling-T, available in strawberry or lychee, offers a bright, refreshing finish.
Complementing the drinks, a new menu introduces an array of elevated bar bites, appetisers, and dim sum designed to pair seamlessly with the cocktails. Highlights include Yutu’s Garden, a vibrant medley of sweet potato, asparagus, and shiso leaf with spicy mayo, Moonfire Tempura Prawns with sweet chilli, Salt & Pepper Squid with golden garlic and seven spice, Lunar Pearls of prawn and crab arancini, and Boneless Chicken Wings glazed in tai chin sauce. The dim sum selection features Vegetable Spring Rolls, Seafood Treasure Dumplings, Lotus Blossom Dim Sum, and the signature Peking Duck Bao with homemade hoisin.

Guests are invited to discover the new beverage and culinary menu, a constellation of flavours that redefines cocktail artistry in Dubai.
