The esteemed La Méditerranée Robuchon and Chicago Rare received the recognition as Selected by The Michelin Guide Doha 2025 during the monumental event on December 12th. With both restaurants in their inaugural year, these accolades further strengthen the Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar’s reputation as one of Doha’s premier dining destinations

The MICHELIN Guide’s highly anticipated debut in Doha marked a defining moment for the city’s restaurant industry, with Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar emerging as a trailblazer. Held on December 12th in Doha, the prestigious event celebrated the city’s most exceptional dining venues and the chefs behind them, honouring their creativity, passion, and respect for local culinary traditions.

Following rigorous evaluations by anonymous MICHELIN Guide inspectors, La Méditerranée Robuchon received the recognition as Selected by The MICHELIN Guide Doha 2025 for its outstanding French and Mediterranean cuisine. This flagship dining destination at Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar honours the legacy of chef Joël Robuchon, whose renowned establishments have collectively garnered nearly 30 Michelin stars. With an emphasis on the finest fresh fish and seafood, complemented by stunning ocean views, the restaurant transports guests to the French Riviera.

As the Executive Chef at La Méditerranée Robuchon Doha, Eric Gonzalez honours the culinary philosophy of Joël Robuchon, from sourcing the finest ingredients to crafting a visual feast for the eyes. Under his leadership, the talented team collaborates seamlessly to deliver a level of artistry and precision that continuously breaks the mould.

On receiving the prestigious Selection, Executive Chef Eric Gonzalez commented, ‘Receiving the recognition as Selected by The MICHELIN Guide Doha 2025 is an incredible honour, and it’s been a privilege to carry forward the spirit of Chef Joël Robuchon’s legacy while bringing my own perspective to the table. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without my outstanding team, who put their passion into every plate, and the support from Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar, which has embraced our vision wholeheartedly. I’m truly grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality.’

Building upon this monumental achievement, Chicago Rare also received the recognition as Selected by The MICHELIN Guide Doha 2025 after just nine months of operation. A modern take on a vintage Chicago steakhouse, Chicago Rare boasts an impressive menu of perfectly grilled meats in a dining experience that is both refined and approachable.

Led by Executive Chef Christian Gosselin and Restaurant Manager Rodney Belanger, and their remarkable teams, the restaurant offers a culinary experience that reimagines the essence of the Roaring Twenties through innovative and artful creations.

Executive Chef Christian Gosselin said, ‘Since opening this year, it has been an incredible journey bringing such a distinctive dining experience to guests in Doha. Offering an exceptional experience that seamlessly combines exquisite food, captivating jazz music, and impeccable service, the restaurant has quickly become a favorite in the city. Being Selected by the MICHELIN Guide Doha 2025 is a moment of immense pride for our team, and we are excited to see what the future holds as we continue to innovate and reinvent the experience.’’

General Manager of Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar Mehdi Zaanoun added, ‘This acknowledgement from the MICHELIN Guide reflects the incredible talent and vision of our chefs, Eric Gonzalez and Christian Gosselin and their teams. Their efforts have brought something truly special to Doha’s dining scene, and we are thrilled to see the resort’s culinary offerings celebrated on such a prestigious stage. These achievements mark just the beginning of an exciting journey for our restaurants and the property as a whole.’

A name synonymous with the highest standards of culinary artistry, the MICHELIN Guide’s recognition places Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar at the forefront of Doha’s flourishing fine dining scene.
