Going beyond the confines of Nikkei food, Nazcaa presents its unique take on the cuisine

The newest addition to the Dubai skyline dining experience is newly launched Nazcaa, a Japanese Peruvian restaurant showcasing its take on Nikkei cuisine. Located in the Address Fountain Views hotel with an incredible terrace overlooking the Burj Khalifa and the city lights, Nazcaa is now open and welcoming guests to have a taste of their definition of Nikkei.

Inspired by the history and fusion of Japanese ingredients with Peruvian cuisine, Nazcaa introduces its personal touch by taking its menu beyond the confines of Nikkei, and embracing the culture of Nazca tradition. Breaking out of the box and not following trends within Japanese Peruvian cuisine, Nazcaa takes a sensible approach to creating new dishes.

The new concept is a merge of two cuisines, the unique flavours of Peruvian spices with Japanese ingredients, and both their techniques blended into a single style for an elevated gastronomical experience. This is what makes Nazcaa one-of-a-kind, following its roots and authenticity, and identifying as ‘Beyond Nikkei’. In addition to its food, a curated handcrafted beverage menu compliments its cuisine with flavours from Peru and fresh ingredients to tantalise the palate.

Matching its menu’s profile are the impressive interiors of the restaurant, embracing the artwork of Nazca culture from the southern coast of Peru. Large designs of linework the size of fields adorn the earth with geometric shapes and animalistic figures, which Nazcaa has embodied throughout the venue. Designed by one of Dubai’s most iconic architectural offices ZN|The restaurant’s entrance resonates with the mysterious Nazca lines, and its floors, wall panels, and lights dazzle the venue with shapes and lines that surround diners in its environment. Accompanying the indoor venue is a terrace that surrounds the restaurant with an infinity pool and incredible views of the Burj Khalifa, its lights, and the city itself. For an authentic touch, the Beyond Nikkei restaurant has brought vibrant, beautiful plating and cutlery all the way from Peru, as well as art pieces handcrafted by Japanese artists, each designed with impeccable attention to detail and creative flair.

“What I most look forward to is seeing the response our guests will have towards the creativity and hard work our team has put into this project. We have created a new concept that allows for a memorable experience, and that we are finally sharing with the city. Our goal for Nazcaa is to become a place where people come not only to celebrate and dine, but where they feel at home in the space we created, and that they will always return to enjoy the ambience, food, and our handcrafted beverages,” shared Uros Lukic, General Manager of Nazcaa.

A concept that embodies the merge of Peruvian and Japanese cultures, Nazcaa is ready to welcome guests to have a taste of their meaning of ‘Beyond Nikkei’. For a unique gastronomical experience surrounded by Nazca-inspired decor, bookings can now be made at www.nazcaa.com.
